You may have noticed that there are more updates happening to the Comic Page. We are working hard every week to provide you with some sort of entertainment from people you know (such as Squid, Chibiche and Tilly). We are also accepting any submissions from outside sources, such as YOU. There are only a few guidelines:
- NO PORNOGRAPHIC MATERIAL. By that I mean no complete nudity or detailed sexual acts. Just be sensible. Some slight nudity not showing naughty bits might be allowed.
- There is a size requirement of the comic being at maximum 600 pixels wide. As Xyko's lame ass comic pointed out, you can have it infinitely tall (but don't do that, please), but over 600 px wide and it breaks the format.
- The subject should somehow relate to the Battle Forum website. That's pretty open to interpretation.
If you have something, please send a link to the comic image to any of your mods and we'll give it a look-see. If it works, we'll put it on the front page. Instant celebrity-ism. Mind you, you should probably sign your name on the comic somewhere so people can tell who drew it (because our titles don't always match the comic in question, as Sparky's titles will demonstrate).
HAVE FUN AND GOOD LUCK!!!

Uh, I dunno. Demonalissa wanted me to update the Events page with some sort of interesting news, but I'm tapped out.
The biggest thing going on at the moment is the on-going War Against Spammers. Defense Moderator CD Rhom reports that the Spamboardah organization continues to launch random Katyuspam missiles at the Theater (previous known as the Battle Forum) board, impacting threads that have been somewhat unoccupied for years. The vast range of these missiles lead McClaud - the present head of the Ministry of Moderation - to believe that future spam tactics will increase. Moderator General Malkaia has successfully identified the culprit of the ringtone spam.
Currently, it is our policy to ban the IP addresses of all the identified members of the spam cell, repair the thread by deleting their posts, and then lock the thread to prevent the thread from being further abused. Should, at anytime, someone require access to a thread locked in such a manner, they are advised to contact via PM any of the three Moderators. We will do what we can during this time of spam, so please be patient.
We are presently investigating the option of disabling the ability to post without signing in. Further action may be to require every new member to have to respond to a verification code to prove they are actually more than a bot.
More news to follow - we will keep you posted as we go.
