I felt like the origonal "theatrical release" of 'Xyko Makes an Announcement' didn't really fulfill the creative vision I had for it. Because of this, I have digitally remastered the origonal and added scenes that were left on the cutting room floor in post-production. I have also digitally added a character that was in the screenplay and later taken out because the producers felt that it was erroneus and slowed down the pace of the comic. I hope you enjoy this 'Director's "Cut"'!

Incidently, NASA engineers & scientists regularly spend oceans of blood, sweat & tears to get to Mars and, every now and then, McClaud messes it up for them. Why's he gotta be like that?!

Hey, I found this artist guy on my doorstep. He's got a funny hat and an purple squid thingie on the end of his arm. Should I keep him, or make him go somewhere else, or what? Right now I've got him staying in the garage until I figure out what to do with him. Any suggestions?

Offically moved! I'm still unpacking and such but things should be back in action in a couple days.

Well, I didn't manage to get the new comic finished before the move, sorry gang. I'll have to get it done once I'm unpacked. The whole finding employment thing is gonna be a big distraction, we'll have to see.

With the advent of Episode III coming up - I humbly request that we have (finally) an official cam portal theme.
Most of us already have those little saber spoon things, grab a red one, ignite it and update your cams!
If you don't have a saber spoon yet, get some Apple Jacks, Corn Pops, or Sugar Smacks - those all should have the toy thingy in them I'm pretty sure.

HAY GUYS. So, due to financial restraints I'm doing something I've never done before. The image took me at least four hours, off and on... and I was thinking of colouring it but the inked picture was so good I figured it stood alone just fine. I'm also still open to comissions, but you knew that didn't you? Thanks for your support guys, you all rock, as usual. :)

Error! I get an e-mail from a Daniel, and at 1am I read it as "Hatter" without even thinking about it. Curse you all, Danielsz!!! This submission was actually the hard-earned work of Fingolfin, and I humbly admit it was my mistake. Still an awesome entry, though. Sorry man!

As promised, I finally put up all the Easter submissions. Let me know if I missed anybody, k? Thanks again to everyone who participated. This, as well as the new comic, would've been up if it weren't for the Renaissance. You see, there's about a 300 year span of history in western art that has plagued my entire week, and if I don't pass that godforsaken test with at LEAST a B I'm going to be very upset.

So it's 2am, I have lots to do tomorrow, so I leave Da Vinci to take it home. G'night forum.

A tough decision as always, we managed to pick a winnar, C.D. Rhom! ^_^v

Each entry was scored by two stats: art and funny. CD's was the highest overall, but we thought we should make mention of the two winners of each catagory as well. Again, we had a lot of great ones to pick from, but here's our finalists:

Maybe I'm just completely off my rocker here or something, but since when has Easter been NOT in April? Wasn't it an April holiday? Apparently not this year, as it has come up to bite me on the ass by surprise (and Easter has three rows of teeth).

So it's a bit late, but here's the annual fun thing you've been waiting for: THE 2005 BATTLE FORUM COLOURING CONTEST!!!

For those of you that don't know the drill, you can colour this image in any medium you like... watercolor, crayons, photoshop, whatever you have and want to use. Fill in Ellie's word-bubble with the funniest line you can come up with, and email it to me. Oh, and for the love of St.Michael, make it something witty... our dear Ellie wouldn't say "SHIT ASSBITSCH SHITASSLOL!12"

All entries must be in to me by Saturday night, and the winner's work will grace the comic archive and front page (don't worry, all entries will be on display, your work will be noticed :) ).
